Remembering the Wedding - Part 4

Bridal Portraits

We've been at the New Mexico State Fair all day, so I don't have time to post much today.  I thought I would share the handful of bridal portraits that Mr. Riddell took.  I have cropped them to different sizes and can't decide which I like best...so I'll just post them all!

(This one is slightly blurry and has a little too much exposure, but I think the lighting looks really neat!)

Several of you have asked in comments whether I made my dress or bought it.  To answer your question, we purchased the dress at a shop in Katy, Texas (just outside of Houston) called The Silver Hanger that specializes in modest formal wear including wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and prom dresses.  This particular dress we found in the "informal" bridal section which is the section of simpler, less fancy, and more economic options!  I love it and am so grateful the Lord provided it through my generous parents! It was the perfect combination of simplicity and classic elegance I was looking for!  :)
