2 Months!

This adorable, happy, peaceful, content little fella hit the 2 month milestone yesterday! He’s been celebrating lately by sleeping all the way through the night!! We love our Silas Andrew boy!

Thankful for Grandmommy

I’m so thankful for my mom being able to be here these last few weeks as we welcomed our fourth baby into the world! She helped lighten my load while we waited for his “late” arrival, was an integral part of my birth team during labor, and took great care of my busy brood and house while I recovered - even staying an extra week to make up for that unexpected late arrival! She cooked and cleaned tirelessly, sparked my kids’ imagination with innumerable rounds of pretend play, conducted school lessons, went grocery shopping, washed clothes, and read stacks of library books - all in the name of true love. Thank you, Mom, for everything! We love you!

Silas Andrew

Introducing Silas Andrew!

I am so thankful to announce the birth of our fourth son, Silas Andrew!

He was born here at home early yesterday morning after 7 hours of labor.

Silas weighed in at 9 pounds even, 21 1/2 inches long.

He is a beautiful, peaceful baby and a champion nurser!

We are praising God for his safe arrival!

38 Weeks!

It's a great day for being 38 weeks along!  Can't wait to meet this newest little Britton boy!

Getting Closer!

30 weeks and counting!  We're in the home stretch now!

I'm so thankful to be able to say that this has been my best experience expecting a baby so far.

- Better energy

- Better sleep

- Less nausea

- Balanced blood sugars (meaning no faintness, light-headedness, or the need to constantly eat around the clock)

Half-Way There!

Well, well, whaddya know?!  We're already at the half-way mark!  20 weeks yesterday!  

I finally had to pull some maternity clothes out of the basement.  

Thankful to be feeling good and for all the sweet little flutters I feel throughout the day. :)
