It's A Boy!

 

I am very pleased to introduce to you our newest son!

Adoniah Wesley Britton

Born at home on his due date: August 4, 2015

8 lbs, 10 ounces

20 1/2 inches long 

Adoniah means "The Lord is my God" and Wesley means "A western meadow" (i.e. peaceful).  Wesley is in honor of my grandfather.

We are so grateful to the Lord for another healthy boy!

37 weeks!

 Baby could come any day now...or not for several more weeks!

On a related note, I came across this article on motherhood yesterday and was so blessed by it!  This is the article that has been brewing in my heart and mind ever since becoming a mommy.  I'm so grateful someone was able to put into words what I could not.  I share it in hopes that it will be an encouragement to other mommies of little ones out there!

 21 weeks and counting!  (Don't you love my little side kicks?)

I've been told I'm carrying lower, like one would with a girl.  And Isaac says the baby is a sister.  We shall just have to wait and see since we've chosen to be surprised by the gender this time.  Maybe we'll be needing some pink?!
