For the third year in a row, I am posting pictures from the Taos hot air balloon event. I told myself I didn't need to take pictures or post them to the blog this year, since I've already done so the past two years. However, I just couldn't help myself! The hot air balloon event is a highlight of the year for me, and I was excited to take the children at a time when my toddler is especially fascinated with "boons", as he calls them. :) I tucked my camera in for the ride - "just in case." [smile]
Josiah all bundled up for the chilly morning!
Isaac was actually quite intimidated by all the giant balloons once we got up close. I think the main reason was because they were so loud when the hot air was pumped up into each one. He was an attentive spectator but very serious the whole time.
Love the rainbow colors!
It was fun to watch several different balloons go up from start to finish.
I counted 30 balloons that morning!
I was fascinated by the process of securing the top of the balloon to the rest of it.
There she goes!
Isaac really enjoyed stomping around in the loose dirt!
Our little three-some.
Color in the sky!
A balloon eclipse? :)
