Stephanie's Tickled Pink Shower

In just a few weeks, we will be celebrating the first wedding at our church since we arrived 2 1/2 years ago!  It was fun to host a "tickled pink" shower for the bride last month!  Thanks to the busyness of life, I'm a little behind in posting pictures from the event, but here they are at last! (Photos compliments of Lindsay Hoover.)

The food and drink tables featuring chicken salad sandwiches, cheese and crackers, fruits and veggies, and lemon-raspberry cheesecake.

For drinks, we had pink raspberry lemonade, iced passion tea, and water.

Two friends happy to see each other.

Playing the "Almost-Newly-Weds Game."  The groom's answers were featured via video.

Playing the "Apron of Advice" game.  For this, guests teamed up and were given envelopes containing 11-18 words cut from magazines.  From those words, they had to come up with some marital advice to be written on an apron for Stephanie.  It was fun to see their creativity!
