The Importance of a Good Probiotic

Here is a great visual for us.

Picture this: you're in the kitchen making homemade bread. You mix the yeast with the warm water, but instead of adding 1 tablespoon of sugar, you add 2 cups! Now you have yeast EVERYWHERE!!

Now imagine that happening inside of your body. Bad bacterial yeast grows out of control with each additional meal or snack that you have containing sugar - even hidden sugars! You are unknowingly FEEDING the beast inside you! When it grows inside of your intestines, it turns into fungus and causes a host of problems including leaky gut, food sensitivities, and joint discomfort. Yeast overgrowth can also cause an overall "blah" feeling throughout the body.

This is why the anti-fungal and enzyme support in the Plexus Probio5 make it so special!  These unique ingredients bust through bio-films and kill off the fungal overgrowth.

I'm so thankful for a high-quality probiotic that doesn't break the bank!

Hi Katrina,
I've been following your blog for many years now and have enjoyed reading about your daily life, from singleness & missions, to courtship and wedding, to marriage & motherhood!
I have a few questions for you concerning it healthy to take during pregnancy/nursing. I have rosacea and am currently nursing my 4 month old. I had considered trying Plexus to help with rosacea as well as shed the pregnancy pounds, but was unsure if it was safe for my 4 month old (or next pregnancy). Any information?

Hi Kelsey! Thanks so much for sharing about being a blog reader for many years now! It's always exciting to "meet" my readers like this. :) As for Plexus, yes, the vast majority of their products are safe to take during pregnancy/nursing. I started them when I was nursing my third-born last spring and soon became pregnant with my 4th (who is due any moment now!). This has been the best pregnancy I've experienced so far, and I attribute a lot of that to the way the Plexus supplements have helped me. I don't know if you have Facebook, but if you type in "Plexus and Rosacea" to your FB search bar, you will see a whole bunch of testimonials from people who have experienced help from these products for that specific issue. If you don't have FB, I would be happy to share these testimonies with you in an email. I can also share more product information with you via email more easily than on the blog here. My email address is Send me a message there and we can continue the conversation! :)
