Wedding Eve

Tonight was an unforgettable time of delight as nearly 70 friends and family gathered together to rehearse the wedding ceremony and share dinner together.  My heart is overflowing with gratefulness for the tremendous love that was evident tonight, the testimonies that were shared, the beauty of holiness, and the goodness of the Lord.

Tomorrow, my entire life changes as I enter into marriage with the most amazing man I am privileged to know!

There Shall Be Showers of Blessing - Part Four!

At the end of April, I was blessed to have a fourth and final bridal shower as numerous dear friends gathered around to celebrate my upcoming marriage and shower me with gifts for my new home.  

It was a lovely occasion in every way!

Mom and Mrs. Hebert enjoyed sweet fellowship.

Listening to my future sister-in-law, Katelyn, tell an animated story.

Mrs. Cooke shared Godly wisdom which was followed by a time of prayer.

My grandmother shared some wisdom as well.

I am quite sure that no bride has been so blessed as me!

Through all these showers, I have felt the love and support of hundreds of people in a way like never before.  Thank you, to each and every one of you, who have rejoiced with us in this joyous season of courtship and engagement and who have given so abundantly to help us get started in life together well cared for.  Nathan and I are truly grateful!

Nathan Cooks!

 Due to the increased busyness in our lives lately and the increased amount of people living in our home with the Days in town, everyone takes a turn making dinner each week.

 Recently, I caught Nathan on camera busy at work making chile.  Don't you love where he puts his recipe card? :)

Yep...he's pretty handy to have around! 

The List Keeps Growing!

483. Three more bridal showers and all the fun fellowship and generous provisions that went with them

484.  Mrs. Powell's help for Mom and encouragement for me

485.  The blessing of figuring out a hairstyle that works well for the wedding

487.  Many special moments spent with Nathan, growing more and more in love with him

488.  Baby laughter

489.  Kind emails and cards from relatives far away

490.  Hot water with which to shower everyday

491.  A wedding dress that now fits perfectly, thanks to a great alteration job!

492.  Answered prayer regarding a very personal matter

493.  Nathan's listening ears, comforting arms, and words of encouragement and affirmation

494.  Being able to borrow friends' cars during some busy days

495.  A fun day at the beach with the family and Nathan

496.  God's abundant provisions

497.  Nathan being done with school for the semester!

498.  The support and prayers of so many dear friends and family

499.  The incredible gift of being loved so fully and unconditionally by this man God has given me

There Shall Be Showers of Blessing - Part Three!

 Recently, I had the immense privilege of being the guest of honor at a bridal shower given by my former co-workers and fellow volunteers from Care Net Pregnancy Center.  

 It was a beautiful affair, hosted by a newlywed herself!

 From the flowers to the food to the sweet, sweet fellowship and outpouring of generosity, every detail was such a blessing!

 Catching up with old friends whom you haven't seen in a long time is so fun!
