Hello Katrina! I've got a quick question. You and I had the same background from "the cutest blog on the block", and since we lost the background I can't figure out how to get a new one! How did you paste it and what did you paste it into? Thanks so much! And I like your new background! -Kelsey
Hello Kelsey! I simply did some searching last night on various websites featuring "free blog backgrounds" and came across this background from shabbyblogs.com Each of these websites provides HTML information you can copy and paste into your "Edit HTML/Java Script" button under template design. Let me know if this is confusing and I will try to clarify. :-) Basically, the same way you got the blue background before is the way you get any other background...it's just a matter of searching for the right one.
I guess my problem is that I have no idea how I got the blue background to begin with! lol! I don't have an "Edit HTML/Java Script" button under my template design. I've tried adding one by "Add a Gadget" but nothing shows up. When I had the blue background I didn't know how to change it because I didn't know where it was pasted in the first place...Any suggestions? -Kelsey
When you click on "Add a Gadget" it should bring up a menu list of various gadgets you can add. You want to click on the option "HTML/Java Script" - the fourth one down on the list. Then, paste into this box whatever background info you copied off the free background website.
Hey Katrina! I tried all of that many times, but the background never appears. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I know that you are really busy right now, and I appreciate all the help that you've given! -Kelsey
