The Cookie Party

On Monday evening, a cookie party took place at the Earnharts' home for the ladies/young ladies of the church. We made lots of baked goods and decorated Christmas cookies to take around town for those who serve the community like the police, firemen, mayor, and others.

Sarah and I spent the majority of the day in the kitchen getting ready for the event by baking several items ahead of time. She made brownies and banana bread, while Amanda and I made sugar cookies to be decorated.

Mmm-mmm! Sarah is a great brownie-baker!

Later in the day, Abbey helped us out by washing dishes. :-)

Lucia and Janet blend cookie dough...in the bathroom! (We were working in the hallway on a table and needed an outlet...so, you know...we used the nearest one! But don't worry, the bathroom was clean.)

Rolling oatmeal cookies.

Having fun!

Camila and Janella making no-bake cookies in the kitchen.

More ladies have arrived!

The ladies loved getting creative with their cookies!

Of course, they got to sample some of the yummy-ness too!

Our oatmeal cookies are coming along!

Such bright and cheerful cookies!
