The other day, my little buddy and I were wearing "matching" clothes...at least as far as purple was concerned. :) So we thought it would be fun to have a photo-shoot!
Your letter to the church, and as always, your website is a true inspiration to me. I need to hire you when you get home to help organize MY house! I smile again as I remember my mission trip to Mexico. We had wood cabins to sleep in, BUT could see through the planks to the ground below. Which meant all the creeping, crawling creatures could see us! To add insult to injury, I saw how bad the mattresses were stained, a sheet between it & me just wouldn't give me comfort. A friend wrapped mine in garbage bags in 90+ degrees to "shield" my reluctance. That evening I turned just in time to see ... a HUGE MONSTER run across the floor! I really appreciated the help with the mattress, but NOPE, couldn't do it. As I stomped my feet and screamed, I also prayed for God to give me comfort and answers. The others, having not seen the monster ... were getting a big laugh out my fear tantrum. What to do? There is no way I could close my eyes in that cabin, I could not go a week without sleep, I could not go home! Then God gave me the grace to take my sheets to the van. The days were stifling, but each night He provied a nice breeze to blow through the cracked windows. I got through the week well rested and was able to accomplish the mission God sent me to do! Through God, you are conquering much greater obstacles. John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. To God be the Glory, M Moon
