Visit to "El Cristo"

The other day, some fellow CDA volunteers and I visited the tallest statue in the world which also happens to be one of the most famous tourist destinations in Cochabamba: El Cristo.
Even though I'm not a big fan of statues of Jesus, the trip was an enjoyable excursion, especially for the sake of enjoying God's beautiful creation.

Bus ride across town to the park entrance: 1.7 bolivianos

Use of the public restroom while waiting: 1 boliviano

Roundtrip ticket up the mountain: 8 bolivianos

We made it!

So delighted to see the Word of God given credit at the base of the statue!

With fellow CDA volunteers: Katie and Hannah

Passage inside the Cristo: 1.5 bolivianos
Taking a picture out the hole on the way up...

View from the top...
Priceless

There are some things money can´t buy.
For everything else, there´s MasterBoliviano. :)
