A Picnic At the Park

Last week, during my time with just the two girls whom I was caring for, we took advantage of one of the only sunny days for a delightful picnic at the park!
With the warm sun shining so brightly, the fountain splashing cheerfully in the background, delicious tuna sandwiches, chips, and fruit, it was a picnic to savor!

How 'bout that view from our eating spot?

Oh the wonder of grass!

And they're off to play!

A little after-lunch recreation.

Whee!

The park sweeper-man using a traditional Bolivian broom.

How many expressions can one girl have going down a slide?

This is my favorite. :)

Sweetness

Love those mountains.

Can you spot the love birds?

When I turned around and saw them rolling down the grassy hill, it so reminded me of my own childhood memories doing the same!

A spot of brilliant beauty in an otherwise not-so-pretty street. This tree reminded me of the Lord's workings. He is so faithful to put spots of beauty in our lives even in the hard times, the suffering, the trials that we might continue forward encouraged.

Hi Katrina,

Thanks for your comment over on the House of Dreams blog. These pics at the Parque Lincoln are fabulous. We love that park.

Keep up the good work!
